The Lost Coin
Jesus also told another story, about a woman who had ten coins.
—Suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?
—And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says: "Rejoice with me, because I have found the coin I lost."
—I tell you that in the same way there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
The woman searched for the coin until she found it. And when she found it, she was so happy that she told all her friends.
God is like that: he is very glad every time someone comes back to him.
Let's talk: Have you ever lost something important? How did you feel when you found it?
When you come back to God, heaven throws a party. Goodnight.
