Jesus and the Child in the Middle
One day, the disciples came to Jesus and asked:
—Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Jesus called a little child, had him stand among them and said:
—Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
And he added:
—See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.
For Jesus, children are very important. And you are very important to him.
Let's talk: Why do you think Jesus put a child in the middle of everyone?
God takes care of you, and so does your angel. Goodnight.
